Australian Labradoodles Association of America Paw Reward Program
The Silver and Gold Paws that appear next to qualified kennels reflect extra health testing for those breeding programs. At a minimum, all breeder members must submit hip and elbow clearances; additional testing, while voluntary, earns a breeder a Silver and/or Gold Paw reward. In 2015 I attended a great two day seminar put on by Avidog for breeders interested in developing the very best practices for rearing puppies;
Avidog’s Transformational Puppy Rearing: Raising Healthy, Stable Dogs and Avidog’s Transformational Puppy Evaluation System: Matching Puppies To Lifetime Homes. Check out their online resources for puppy owners, many are free!
